Jeremiah 25:34 - "Wail, you shepherds, and cry; And wallow [in ashes], you masters of the flock; For the days of your slaughter and your dispersions have come, And you shall fall like a choice vessel.

Ezekiel 34:12 - "As a shepherd cares for his herd in the day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will deliver them from all the places to which they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day.

Ezekiel 34:23 - "Then I will set over them one shepherd, My servant David, and he will feed them; he will feed them himself and be their shepherd.

Ezekiel 37:24 - "And My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd; and they will walk in My ordinances, and keep My statutes, and observe them.

Amos 1:2 - And he said, "The LORD roars from Zion, And from Jerusalem He utters His voice; And the shepherds' pasture grounds mourn, And the summit of Carmel dries up."

Amos 3:12 - Thus says the LORD, "Just as the shepherd snatches from the lion's mouth a couple of legs or a piece of an ear, So will the sons of Israel dwelling in Samaria be snatched away-- With [the] corner of a bed and [the] cover of a couch!
