Genesis 11:28 - And Haran died in the presence of his father Terah in the land of his birth, in Ur of the Chaldeans.

Genesis 11:31 - And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran, his grandson, and Sarai his daughter-inlaw, his son Abram's wife; and they went out together from Ur of the Chaldeans in order to enter the land of Canaan; and they went as far as Haran, and settled there.

Genesis 15:7 - And He said to him, "I am the LORD who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to possess it."

2 Kings 25:4 - Then the city was broken into, and all the men of war [fled] by night by way of the gate between the two walls beside the king's garden, though the Chaldeans were all around the city. And they went by way of the Arabah.

2 Kings 25:5 - But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook him in the plains of Jericho and all his army was scattered from him.

2 Kings 25:10 - So all the army of the Chaldeans who [were with] the captain of the guard broke down the walls around Jerusalem.

2 Kings 25:13 - Now the bronze pillars which were in the house of the LORD, and the stands and the bronze sea which were in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans broke in pieces and carried the bronze to Babylon.

2 Kings 25:24 - And Gedaliah swore to them and their men and said to them, "Do not be afraid of the servants of the Chaldeans; live in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it will be well with you."

2 Kings 25:25 - But it came about in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the royal family, came with ten men and struck Gedaliah down so that he died along with the Jews and the Chaldeans who were with him at Mizpah.

2 Kings 25:26 - Then all the people, both small and great, and the captains of the forces arose and went to Egypt; for they were afraid of the Chaldeans.

2 Chronicles 36:17 - Therefore He brought up against them the king of the Chaldeans who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or infirm; He gave [them] all into his hand.

Job 1:17 - While he was still speaking, another also came and said, "The Chaldeans formed three bands and made a raid on the camels and took them and slew the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you."

Isaiah 47:1 - "Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; Sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans. For you shall no longer be called tender and delicate.

Isaiah 47:5 - "Sit silently, and go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans; For you will no more be called The queen of kingdoms.

Isaiah 48:14 - "Assemble, all of you, and listen! Who among them has declared these things? The LORD loves him; he shall carry out His good pleasure on Babylon, And His arm [shall be against] the Chaldeans.

Isaiah 48:20 - Go forth from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! Declare with the sound of joyful shouting, proclaim this, Send it out to the end of the earth; Say, "The LORD has redeemed His servant Jacob."

Jeremiah 21:4 - 'Thus says the LORD God of Israel, "Behold, I am about to turn back the weapons of war which are in your hands, with which you are warring against the king of Babylon and the Chaldeans who are besieging you outside the wall; and I shall gather them into the center of this city.

Jeremiah 21:9 - "He who dwells in this city will die by the sword and by famine and by pestilence; but he who goes out and falls away to the Chaldeans who are besieging you will live, and he will have his own life as booty.

Jeremiah 22:25 - and I shall give you over into the hand of those who are seeking your life, yes, into the hand of those whom you dread, even into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.

Jeremiah 24:5 - "Thus says the LORD God of Israel, 'Like these good figs, so I will regard as good the captives of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place [into] the land of the Chaldeans.

Jeremiah 25:12 - 'Then it will be when seventy years are completed I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation,' declares the LORD, 'for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans; and I will make it an everlasting desolation.

Jeremiah 32:4 - and Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but he shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with him face to face, and see him eye to eye;

Jeremiah 32:5 - and he shall take Zedekiah to Babylon, and he shall be there until I visit him," declares the LORD. "If you fight against the Chaldeans, you shall not succeed "'?"

Jeremiah 32:24 - 'Behold, the siege mounds have reached the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans who fight against it, because of the sword, the famine, and the pestilence; and what Thou hast spoken has come to pass; and, behold, Thou seest [it].

Jeremiah 32:25 - 'And Thou hast said to me, O Lord God, "Buy for yourself the field with money, and call in witnesses "-- although the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.'"

Jeremiah 32:28 - Therefore thus says the LORD, "Behold, I am about to give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans and into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it.

Jeremiah 32:29 - "And the Chaldeans who are fighting against this city shall enter and set this city on fire and burn it, with the houses where [people] have offered incense to Baal on their roofs and poured out libations to other gods to provoke Me to anger.

Jeremiah 32:43 - 'And fields shall be bought in this land of which you say, "It is a desolation, without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans."

Jeremiah 33:5 - 'While [they] are coming to fight with the Chaldeans, and to fill them with the corpses of men whom I have slain in My anger and in My wrath, and I have hidden My face from this city because of all their wickedness:

Jeremiah 35:11 - "But it came about, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against the land, that we said, 'Come and let us go to Jerusalem before the army of the Chaldeans and before the army of the Arameans.' So we have dwelt in Jerusalem."

Jeremiah 37:5 - Meanwhile, Pharaoh's army had set out from Egypt; and when the Chaldeans who had been besieging Jerusalem heard the report about them, they lifted the [siege] from Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 37:8 - "The Chaldeans will also return and fight against this city, and they will capture it and burn it with fire."'

Jeremiah 37:9 - "Thus says the LORD, 'Do not deceive yourselves, saying, "The Chaldeans will surely go away from us," for they will not go.

Jeremiah 37:11 - Now it happened, when the army of the Chaldeans had lifted [the siege] from Jerusalem because of Pharaoh's army,

Jeremiah 37:13 - While he was at the Gate of Benjamin, a captain of the guard whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah the son of Hananiah was there; and he arrested Jeremiah the prophet, saying, "You are going over to the Chaldeans!"

Jeremiah 37:14 - But Jeremiah said, "A lie! I am not going over to the Chaldeans"; yet he would not listen to him. So Irijah arrested Jeremiah and brought him to the officials.

Jeremiah 38:2 - "Thus says the LORD, 'He who stays in this city will die by the sword and by famine and by pestilence, but he who goes out to the Chaldeans will live and have his [own] life as booty and stay alive.'

Jeremiah 38:18 - 'But if you will not go out to the officers of the king of Babylon, then this city will be given over to the hand of the Chaldeans; and they will burn it with fire, and you yourself will not escape from their hand.'"

Jeremiah 38:19 - Then King Zedekiah said to Jeremiah, "I dread the Jews who have gone over to the Chaldeans, lest they give me over into their hand and they abuse me."

Jeremiah 38:23 - 'They will also bring out all your wives and your sons to the Chaldeans, and you yourself will not escape from their hand, but will be seized by the hand of the king of Babylon, and this city will be burned with fire.'"

Jeremiah 39:5 - But the army of the Chaldeans pursued them and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and they seized him and brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he passed sentence on him.

Jeremiah 39:8 - The Chaldeans also burned with fire the king's palace and the houses of the people, and they broke down the walls of Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 40:9 - Then Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, swore to them and to their men, saying, "Do not be afraid of serving the Chaldeans; stay in the land and serve the king of Babylon, that it may go well with you.

Jeremiah 40:10 - "Now as for me, behold, I am going to stay at Mizpah to stand [for you] before the Chaldeans who come to us; but as for you, gather in wine and summer fruit and oil, and put [them] in your [storage] vessels, and live in your cities that you have taken over."

Jeremiah 41:3 - Ishmael also struck down all the Jews who were with him, [that is] with Gedaliah at Mizpah, and the Chaldeans who were found there, the men of war.

Jeremiah 41:18 - because of the Chaldeans; for they were afraid of them, since Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had struck down Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon had appointed over the land.

Jeremiah 43:3 - but Baruch the son of Neriah is inciting you against us to give us over into the hand of the Chaldeans, so they may put us to death or exile us to Babylon."

Jeremiah 50:1 - The word which the LORD spoke concerning Babylon, the land of the Chaldeans, through Jeremiah the prophet:

Jeremiah 50:8 - "Wander away from the midst of Babylon, And go forth from the land of the Chaldeans; Be also like male goats at the head of the flock.

Jeremiah 50:25 - The LORD has opened His armory And has brought forth the weapons of His indignation, For it is a work of the Lord God of hosts In the land of the Chaldeans.

Jeremiah 50:35 - "A sword against the Chaldeans," declares the LORD, "And against the inhabitants of Babylon, And against her officials and her wise men!

Jeremiah 50:45 - Therefore hear the plan of the LORD which He has planned against Babylon, and His purposes which He has purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: surely they will drag them off, [even] the little ones of the flock; surely He will make their pasture desolate because of them.

Jeremiah 51:4 - "And they will fall down slain in the land of the Chaldeans, And pierced through in their streets."

Jeremiah 51:54 - The sound of an outcry from Babylon, And of great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans!

Ezekiel 1:3 - the word of the LORD came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and there the hand of the LORD came upon him.)

Ezekiel 12:13 - "I shall also spread My net over him, and he will be caught in My snare. And I shall bring him to Babylon in the land of the Chaldeans; yet he will not see it, though he will die there.

Ezekiel 23:14 - "So she increased her harlotries. And she saw men portrayed on the wall, images of the Chaldeans portrayed with vermilion,

Ezekiel 23:23 - the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, Pekod and Shoa and Koa, [and] all the Assyrians with them; desirable young men, governors and officials all of them, officers and men of renown, all of them riding on horses.

Daniel 1:4 - youths in whom was no defect, who were good-looking, showing intelligence in every [branch of] wisdom, endowed with understanding, and discerning knowledge, and who had ability for serving in the king's court; and [he ordered him] to teach them the literature and language of the Chaldeans.

Daniel 2:2 - Then the king gave orders to call in the magicians, the conjurers, the sorcerers and the Chaldeans, to tell the king his dreams. So they came in and stood before the king.

Daniel 2:4 - Then the Chaldeans spoke to the king in Aramaic: "O king, live forever! Tell the dream to your servants, and we will declare the interpretation."

Daniel 2:5 - The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, "The command from me is firm: if you do not make known to me the dream and its interpretation, you will be torn limb from limb, and your houses will be made a rubbish heap.

Daniel 2:10 - The Chaldeans answered the king and said, "There is not a man on earth who could declare the matter for the king, inasmuch as no great king or ruler has [ever] asked anything like this of any magician, conjurer or Chaldean.

Daniel 4:7 - "Then the magicians, the conjurers, the Chaldeans, and the diviners came in, and I related the dream to them; but they could not make its interpretation known to me.

Daniel 5:7 - The king called aloud to bring in the conjurers, the Chaldeans and the diviners. The king spoke and said to the wise men of Babylon, "Any man who can read this inscription and explain its interpretation to me will be clothed with purple, and [have] a necklace of gold around his neck, and have authority as third [ruler] in the kingdom."

Daniel 9:1 - In] the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of Median descent, who was made king over the kingdom of the Chaldeans--

Habakkuk 1:6 - "For behold, I am raising up the Chaldeans, That fierce and impetuous people Who march throughout the earth To seize dwelling places which are not theirs.

Habakkuk 1:15 - [The Chaldeans] bring all of them up with a hook, Drag them away with their net, And gather them together in their fishing net. Therefore, they rejoice and are glad.

Acts 7:4 - "Then he departed from the land of the Chaldeans, and settled in Haran. And from there, after his father died, [God] removed him into this country in which you are now living.
